A rather elegant bottle of SPEY single malt from the Speyside Distillery. This Peated expression has been aged for 12 years before it was bottled at 46% ABV, with only 3,000 limited bottles released. A great balance of smoky and sweet in this one.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Gentle whispers of smoke, with creamy vanilla, fresh grapes and wood spice.
Palate: The spice really develops on the palate, with green apple skin, roasted (if slightly burnt) nuts and earthy vanilla pod.
Finish: A touch of ripe banana sweetness alongside dried fruit and a dry, smoky finish.
